I had the HONOR and the PLEASURE of meeting Wood Harris and his and Steve's beautiful mother Mattie Harris while attending the 32nd Annual NAACP Image Awards. Even though I was surrounded by the likes of Sidney Poitier, Billy Dee Williams and former President of the United States Bill Clinton...in all honesty...meeting Mrs. Harris and Wood Harris were the highlight of my evening.

As you know, both Wood and Steve received Image Award nominations...unfortunately, neither brother won...HOWEVER...they're both winners where it counts.. their fans!

Wood holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree from New York University.
